3D Reflection.

This is my presentation about 3D Reflection. I wrote all about what we did when we were making our key Chains. I made a key chain with my initials and it says love on top of it. Our schools printer is called maker bot.

3D Modelling.

This is my first 3D Modelling by using Build with chrome in a Computer. I was trying to make a house but I couldn't so I made a colourful Cube.

Chapter 2-My Country.

My Country

My country is alfalfa,  it is very snowy and cold. I like to make balls out of snow and I like to throw them on other people. I like alfalfa because it is a beautiful place and it is a lot of fun. In my country there is a very big and nice swimming pool. In alfalfa there are lots and lots of shops and there is a super market too. There are playgrounds and sometimes I go there. In alfalfa the roads are very busy. There are lots of beautiful birds and parrots. There are also very nice trees like huie.

Chapter 3-My family.

My Family

In my family I have a dad and a mum, There names are Austin and Ally. I have a aunty and a uncle there names are Elizabeth and Mike.  I also have a big brother and he is 20 years old, his name is Josh and my sisters are Emma and Emily,Emma is 16 years old and Emily is 18 years old. I have a little sister and her name is Sophia, she is 2 years old but she is very annoying. Sophia always pinches me and I get really annoyed. Sophia always fights with me but I just go to my room and I lock the door so she doesn't come in. I am the middle child in the family but I like it because I get anything I want.

Chapter 4-My Hobbies.

My Hobbies

I really like dancing and styling my hair. I like any kind of music and I style my hair all sorts of things. I also like to get fabric and make dresses , skirts , shirts and more. Every morning I go to my job which is the hairstyle shop. In my shop it is very busy and lots of people get there hair done. My hobbies is playing basketball with my friends. After lunch my friends come to my house and we play basketball. I really like  playing basketball with my friends. I have a lot and a lot of friends at school and they are all nice and friendly. When we are at home I do the cooking. We love dumpling and we eat them everyday.

My mum and dad gets happy when I do the cooking because I make delicious dumplings. My family thinks that I am a chef because they love it when I make dumpling or when I do the cooking . When my sister is at home we go shopping at the mall and we have dinner there too. Me and my sister buy a lot of clothe and lots of other things. We love going shopping at the mall. At night I read a lot of books because I don’t get sleepy at all. I read books so I get sleepy and I fall asleep but sometimes I don’t fall asleep so I read a bit longer. My favourite books is Ella and Olivia. I like Ella the best because she is pretty. I have a collection of her books and I have read them all.

Chapter 5- My old School.

My Old School

At our school it is very small and ugly because we don’t have any drinking fountains and a field . At school I have a  lot of friends. My favorite friends is Jasmeet and sophia. They are really friendly and helpful. My teacher's name is Mrs haylim,she is very very mean. She growls me for no reason. My favorite sport is basketball,I play with my friends. I like basketball because you can do any sorts of tricks. My favourite subject is maths , Art.I like maths because I love doing my times tables. My best subject is art. We make our own paint and paint brushes. We use toothpaste and food colouring to make paint. In my class we cut hair and we glue it on a stick and then we use it for a paint brush. I like painting nature and people. My least favorite subject is writing because sometimes I don't know what to write. Sometimes when I go over seas I write about it and that is what I like about writing. We use pencil and paper. In our school we don’t have any math book and writing book. I don’t like school at all

Chapter 6-Heading off to New Zealand.

Right now I am so happy because we are heading off to New Zealand with my mum , dad and little sister Sophia. It is my first time in a plane. My ears are hurting so badly because the plane is so noisy. There are so many little kids in this plane and they are Screaming so loud. I don’t like this plane at all, but then everyone is quiet. It was so nice because I looked at the sunset and the clouds, the clouds looked like ice. It was awesome when we went through the clouds. I used to work at the hair styler place and I raised a lot of money so now we can go to New Zealand. I am so excited because I am getting a job at New Zealand which is the salon. When I raise a lot of money, I am going to give them to my parents so they could buy a better house for us. It was the best when we were landing because we went super fast. Right now I am so happy because we are heading off to New Zealand with my mum , dad and little sister Sophia. It is my first time in a plane. Chapter 7-My house.

My House

OMG THE HOUSE IS SO PRETTY, I went and looked at all the rooms and I picked the best room in the house,Everything was pink. After that we looked around the whole house and I went In the toilet, it was so big, it had a really big shower and sink. It was awesome. Me and Sophia went outside and we saw a big swimming pool, we quickly got changed into our swimming clothes we ran and jumped in the pool. It was cool but then Sophia drowned,I dived in the water and I got her. It was quite dangerous for Sophia because she will drown a lot, So my mum did’t let her to go on it a lot. We looked at the other side and there was a park with a flying fox,we used to have flying foxes at Alfalfa. Me and Sophia ran to the playground and we had a turn on the flying fox,Sophia was to short for the flying fox so I had to pick her up and put her on. It was very cool at Mount Roskill. My neighbours are really nice and friendly. Her daughter is my best friend now. Her name is Jasmine, we like going to the park together and going swimming together. She is pretty cool. It is getting dark because it is nearly night time,I went to my room and I wore my pyjamas and I brushed my teeth in the toilet. When I finished I went to my room and my mum said that Sofia has to share rooms me. I didn't want her to be in my room but she had too. I got in my bed and it was quiet BUT THEN SOFIA TURNED ON THE LIGHT AND SHE WAS PLAYING WITH HER TOYS. It was so annoying but then she fell asleep on the ground. I went to her and I put her on the bed,then it was quiet. It was so nice sleeping in the comfy warm bed.  

Chapter 8-Cross Country.

Cross Country

Hey buddy this morning I realized that there is cross country. I thought about playing sick but it didn't work. I got out of my warm bed and decided to get ready for school. I was so late that I didn't have time to eat breakfast. I was on the way to school and I saw a man blowing up the finishing line. I came to class and I saw the time table and it said cross country.  At 9. o'clock all the classes came outside and IT WAS TIME FOR CROSS COUNTRY. The puriri classes went first,we were all cheering for them and who ever came first,second or third they win paper medals. Then it was time for kauri team. I was so nervous and scared, Miss Keys hit the blocks together and we ran off. I had a stitch but finally I was coming towards the finish line BUT THEN I TRIPPED OVER AND FELL. I had two injures,One on my arm and the other on my leg. I got up and I ran across the finishing line. Then I went to the sick bay, Miss Murry mixed water and a cleaning spray,They cleaned my arm and it hurted badly But then it got a bit better. Miss Murry gave me a plaster and I sticked it on my arm. She saw my leg but it was a bit little so she didn't give me a plaster. I was was going towards the place my class was sitting but I realized THAT THEY ARE ALREADY GONE. I had to run to class but it was al-right because it was morning tea.

Chapter 9- Going to Mount Roskill

Going to Mount Roskill

Today is our last day at this hotel so now we can go to Mount Roskill in a taxi. Right now we are on the way to Mt Roskill, we got off the taxi and it was amazing. There were no rubbish and the roads were not busy at all. I breathed in the fresh clean air and I breathed out. There were so many trees and flowers. At Alfalfa there were lots of pretty birds but over here there are the most prettiest birds in the world.

Chapter 10-First day at school office.

First day at school office.

I am so nervous because right now I am getting ready for school,I want to look so pretty so that everyone thinks that I am pretty. Me and my mum are heading off to school by walk, I asked my mum to tell me “where is my school” and she said it is May Road School,It sounded cool but I had a lot of butterflies in my tummy, but then finally because we reached the school office. We opened the door and the office lady came out,she said hi and I said hi to her back. My mum was talking to her about how I was joining the school and then she came to me,she told me her name first and it was Mrs Tybunchi, she was really nice but then I got quite nervous because she asked me a lot of question, the first one was what is your name? and I said my name is Roxana. Then she told me where my class is and it was room 25. Mrs Tybunchi took my hand and took me to my class,

Chapter 11-First day at class.

First day at class

O gosh I had butterflies all over my tummy because I was so nervous. I met my teacher and she said hi to me, she introduced herself to me and her name was Miss Rither Key. Then I introduced myself to the whole class,there was a lot of children. Miss Rither key was talking with my mum but then my mum left,after I wasn't so scared because all the children looks kind and friendly. Miss Rither key picked a child to take me around the school and that child was a girl,I was happy about that. She first showed me the toilets and she showed me which one is the girl’s toilet. I was so excited because she was going to show me the playgrounds,I loved playgrounds especially the slides. Then I started to kind of talk to her and she replied to all the things I said,I was so happy because I knew I will have a lot of friends. I told her that “is there any basketball hoops here,and she said yes,I got soooooo happy because I loved basketball. I asked her that”do you like playing basketball and she said yes. She said to me if you could be my friend and I said yes. I said to her that what is your name and she said Jasmine and I said my name is Roxana. Then we went back to class and they were doing art,I was happy because I was really good and art and I think I will make a lot of friends. Then the bell rang which was for morning tea. I ate my food and went outside to play at the playground. It was fun but then we went back to class,after 30 minutes the bell rang for lunch time. I was in a rush when i was eating my food because I really wanted to play at the playground. The play time was reaaaaly long,after when I played at the playground,I went to the library and there were a lot and lot of books. There was also a machine there which was called a CD printer,It sounded pretty cool so I was a bit excited about it. Then we went to class,after 30 minutes the bell rang for home time. My mum came and picked me up.

Chapter 12- Day two at May Road.

I woke up in the morning and I quickly put on my clothe. I ran down stairs and I ate my breakfast and after that I put on my shoes. After that I opened  the door and I ran outside because I thought That I'm late but finally I reached school and guess what,I wasn't late,I was happy about that. When I went to class I looked at the time table and It said Writing for the first block,I loved writing when I was in Alfalfa. After when we did writing,the bell rang for morning tea so we went and got our bags and ate our food,soon I was playing at the playground with my friends and then the bell rang again, so we had to go to class. When it was 11:30,we lined up and we got ready to go to a trip,we were going to Waikowhai Intermediate because they were gonna show us a production,they called it

Anthem our Tribute. We were walking to their school because it wasn't that far but then when we reached there, a teacher came out and she was talking to us about where we are going to go first and she said the library. I saw no books at all and there were lots of old things. After that we went into the hall and we sat down on chairs. I was so excited when the show was starting and it was cool because the curtains magically closed. Then the show was starting and everyone was quiet,The show took 2 hours and the show was the best show in the world.After that we walked back to school and we were doing some maths and soon it was home time.

Chapter 13 - Holidays

Term 4 Buddy in the holidays

In the morning,my older sister came in my room and asked If I wanted to go to the beach and I said sure. Me ,my brother and my sisters wanted to go, So we went. I got was so excited but when we reached there I noticed that I didn't bring my swimming togs.

I was really sad about that, but then my brother said

“you still can put your legs in the water” so I did and it was fun. Then we all lay down and relaxed.. After that we went to Fish and Chips to get food and I only ate the chips,It was yummy. Then we planned to go on a walk but it was a bit windy so we didn't go. My sister said

“why don’t we go and get Ice cream and we said “okay”. Only my sister ate Ice cream cos we didn't feel like it. We planned to go to so many places but my brother didn't agree. Then we went home and we just lay down and relaxed. 

This is my writing about what I did in the holidays which is going to the beach, I went with my sisters and brother. 

Waikowhai Intermediate Production.

Thank you Waikowhai Intermediate for the a great production. It was the first production I have ever seen and it was the best. The Production was about the world war and they called it Anthem our Tribute. We went on the 22 of September and we walked there. My favourite part was when you guys were doing the song see you again. I loved the actions you guys did.

Check out my facts about recycling. Room 15 went to the recycling place and smelt really bad.I learnt alot of facts like we can't recycle plastic bags and When we recycle cans we have to leave the lids on. Would you Recycle?.

hight. Mrs Mellik labeld the boxes from A to I and we had to figure out the smallest to the biggest and the biggest one was the box B. After that Mrs Mellick  said what she had. Then  we wrote the measurements from the smallest to the biggest on our books.

• sprinkled white pepper
• put cardboard
• toothpick
• put little bit of soap

Result (what actually happened, and was it the same as, or different from your prediction?) :

The white pepper separated when you put the soap in.

Conclusion (what did you learn from the experiment?):

water is magnified and the white pepper separated when you put the soap in.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Jack and the Beanstalk.

Once upon a time there was a boy called Jack. They were very poor. They had a cow it’s name was milky white. The mum said go to the market and sell it so we can get money. When Jack was going he saw a man holding a hat he said “where are you going the man said? I am going to the market to sell my cow. The man said lets swap it with my magic beans. Jack said okay so he ran home and said to his mum look what I brought. The mum got very angry. Jack went out outside and put some beans on the ground. The next day Jack went outside the beans grew very very big. Jack climbed it. He saw a very big castle he walked towards the castle and he opened the door .There was an old lady sitting down she said come in Jack went in. Jack said can you please give me some food. I am very hungry. The lady went and brought some toast and milk. Jack ate it very fast.The giant and said Fie Fi Foe I smell the blood of an Englishman. He didn't like visitors. The lady quickly put Jack in the oven and closed it’s door.The giant sat down and and drank some tea.The giant went to sleep so the lady took Jack out. Jack went up stairs and he saw a gold he got it and put it in his pocket. He went down stairs and the lady was sitting down. When the lady wasn't looking Jack ran out and went home and showed his mum.The next day Jack climbed the beanstalk and he saw a harp. Jack said to his mum “come look at this.” The mum was very surprised. The giant came to the beanstalk and he was trying to get the harp but Jack saw him so Jack cut the beanstalk and the giant died. The giant's wife said that boy stole my gold and now he killed my husband. So the mum and jack lived happily ever after,

Sleeping Beauty.

Sleeping Beauty Narrative

Intro:

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Sleeping Beauty. She lived with the king and queen. There were 13 fairies but the 13th one was a very evil fairy. The 12th fairy was a very friendly and a kind fairy. She always helps Sleeping beauty when she was in trouble.  

The king said “Lets have a feast.”

So they had a feast. Everyone from the kingdom  was invited except the 13th fairy because she was very mean to Sleeping beauty. She got jealous that all the other fairies are going but not her. All the fairies gave her the wishes. Sleeping beauty went into a room and there was a witch that was the 13th fairy next to a spindle and Sleeping beauty didn't even know that it was the evil fairy. The fairy said come closer so she went. The fairy said do you want to try? Sleeping beauty said yes. Sleeping beauty touched the  spindle with her finger and it got pricked. Sleeping beauty fell onto the ground and she went in a very deep sleep. Everyone in the kingdom fell asleep, even the animals. Then a handsome prince came.. He was in love with Sleeping Beauty so he gave her a kiss then Sleeping Beauty woke up and everyone in the castle woke up. Everyone in the kingdom was so happy. Sleeping Beauty and the prince decided to get married. So they lived happily ever after.
